The avalanche forecast is brought to you by:
- Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE),
- Norwegian Meteorological Institute,
- Norwegian Public Roads Administration
- Norwegian National Rail Administration
From medio January and throughout May we will provide avalanche forecasts for 24 designated areas in Norway, where avalanches occur most frequently. The forecasts will be published on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday every week and are based on the European avalanche warning scale.
